Retha Grobler (Guest)

Retha Grobler qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1995 at the University of Pretoria. Her career spans three decades, beginning in government hospitals in South Africa and the UK, where she worked across all major fields of Physiotherapy.

In 1998, she specialised in Advanced Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and lectured full-time at the University of Pretoria for 5 years. Now, 25 years later, she’s a Senior Lecturer in the Post-graduate Advanced Neuro-Muscular Science course, which she helped standardise according to IFOMT guidelines in the early 2000s.

Since attending Luigi Stecco’s introductory and advanced Fascial Manipulation courses in 2013 and 2014, she has focused mainly on deep myofascial release techniques to optimise patient mobility and function.

As a qualified MAP Movement trainer, Retha’s passion lies in helping clients achieve pain-free mobility, functional strength and holistic wellness.
